For the Swiss Cup Finals, Zumtobel Group wanted more than just lighting up the game, as they usually do with their light solutions. As a long-standing sports sponsor and lighting expert for stadiums worldwide, the question wasn’t whether to be seen - this was covered by their products - but how to be felt. Football lives on anticipation, strategy, and collective emotion in the stadium. Our task was to translate that energy into light and motion - to take pitch-side advertising, usually peripheral, and turn it into a moment that belongs to the game itself.
Sports Marketing, Reimagined
We created a sponsorship movie built for the emotion of the Swiss Cup Finals. Sharp edits, bold sound, and emotionally charged scenes capture match days and the light it shines in supported by Zumtobel solutions. We packed it all in one film, from the quiet tension before kickoff to the release of shared highs in the stands. In the midst of it all, Zumtobel’s light is not treated as a product placement, we made it an active element shaping the atmosphere on and around the pitch.
Presented live on game day, the boards and the movie become part of the game experience, responding to the game rather than interrupting it or being treated as a break filler. Brand, product, and sport come together in a visual language.
The Outcome
